Grove City Christian Child Care Center exists as a ministry of Grove City Church of the Nazarene to assist parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibilities in training their children. The services provided are designed to assist parents in meeting the demands placed on them in a contemporary life and reinforce Christian principles essential in making the home complete.

Grove City Christian Child Care Center is viewed as a supplement to the child's family by providing a warm, secure Christian environment outside the home. The purpose of the program is to guide and nurture each child in his or her spiritual, physical, mental, emotional and social experiences, to provide age appropriate educational and social experiences and age appropriate educational goals for continual growth and development.

Grove City Nazarene cares about families with young children and wants to provide the very best church experience for the youngest members of our congregation. That's why we've created First Steps, a ministry for young children and their families.

The Bible teaches that you can never start building a spiritual foundation in a small child too soon. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

The First Steps Preschool Ministries is designed to help little children take their first steps in developing a lasting relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and give them a spiritual foundation. This is a foundation that will last and make an eternal difference in their lives.

We offer a wide variety of services for nursery through preschool aged children, in addition to special programs and events for the entire family to participate in together. We believe families need and deserve opportunities to regularly enjoy wholesome, Christ-centered activities throughout the year. God's Creative Kids Play AreaFeel free to stop by anytime and visit us in our modern, two-story, child-centered preschool wing that allows us to reach kids in new, exciting, fun, relevant and innovative ways. We hope to hear from you, or better yet, see you soon!

Kids Matter combines high-energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. A combination of drama, games, and fun-filled songs capture kids' attention while also showing them that living for God is the best thing out there.

Your child is invited to celebrate with us each week! "Rise up, O Lord in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your mighty acts." Psalm 21:13

When you arrive at our welcome centers you and your child will be greeted by one of our volunteers* who will escort your child into the Kids Matter service. We want you as the parent to enjoy your worship service knowing that your children are in a safe place and having fun at the same time.

Kids Matter services coincide with our regular mid-week and weekend adult services. Bring the entire family this weekend. We'll see you soon!
