Music at GCCN
Worship has played an important role in the development of Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Each weekend service needs to be an exciting celebration of the goodness of God and the victorious life of Christ. It's been said that every service is an Easter celebration at Grove City Church of the Nazarene. We also hope that each week we can experience a moment where we can feel the closeness of the Lord that is authentic, but not mystical.
Since Senior Pastor, Mark Fuller, has come to our church, we have reached these goals. We are continuing in a tradition utilizing a worship experience which evokes participation rather than spectatorship. We strive to provide services that are relevant to our demographic group, up-to-date in creativity, and presented with excellence. We try different formats within our style and utilize a large group of volunteers. Hopefully the connected pages will help you understand our ministry and get a taste for our music.
"The purpose and goal of the entire music ministry is to lead the congregation, by example and service, sharing Christ through our lives and musical gifts." Travis Laws, Worship Arts Pastor

To accomplish this purpose, we are governed by four basic principles.
1. We will provide, by example and preparation, weekly leadership in worship to the congregation.
2. We will exhibit an example of personal spiritual growth to the congregation through personal spiritual accountability partners, small groups, Sunday School participation, or other weekly ministry service opportunities.
3. We will provide opportunities for attenders to serve the congregation through the use of their musical talents.
4. We will give consistent, quality musical presentations to encourage believers, win the pre-believer to Christ and connect the uncommitted believer to our fellowship.
